The current floods in Pakistan remind us how fragile the life of rural populations in the Indian subcontinent is. We continue to support the childrens' home in Dindegul, but will also be doing our bit for the relief effort to help the homeless and bereaved in the Indus Delta. Less well known is the small, but annual loss of life in the Indian Monsoon which continues this year. It seems this is an acceptable price to pay for life-giving water.
